Australian MR software expands globally
Research Reporter, the market research management software for research buyers developed in Australia, has expanded internationally into the UK and European markets. Since its launch in Australia in 2001 it has been adopted by many blue chip organisations including major banks, government departments and global brands such as Kraft and Toyota. Insight Marketing Systems, the Melbourne based company that developed Research Reporter, plans to expand its global reach further with announcements of partnerships in the USA and Hong Kong expected early this year. According to Daryl Maloney McCall, a director of Insight Marketing, the product doubled its client base in 2002. 'It became inevitable that we would have to expand globally,' he said. 'As Australian researchers became aware of the product's ability to reduce costs and better manage research within their organisations, it stimulated substantial interest from several international parent companies.' As the first step in this global expansion, the Australian company will partner with E-Tabs in the UK. E-Tabs has more than 6,000 clients in 50 countries. Researchers will be able to access their E-Tabs data tables from within the Research Reporter system.
