New Research Reporter competitor intelligence module

Research Reporter, the market research management system for research buyers developed in Australia by Insight Marketing, has announced the release of a new Competitor and Market Intelligence module.

According to Daryl Maloney McCall, a director of Insight Marketing, there has been a broadening of research buyers' responsibilities to marketing information domains other than primary market research.

'We now see research buyers with titles such as Consumer Insights Manager and Marketing Knowledge Manager. These titles reflect the new responsibilities, outside of traditional market research, that include competitor and marketing intelligence.'

The new Research Reporter module allows every person within the organisation to potentially report on CI activities they come across in the field. Sources can include the likes of direct marketing activity, competitor site analysis, and less structured sources such as 'hearsay', which can be tagged with a 'reliability score'.
