The Mike Larbalestier National Conference Scholarship has been established to provide financial support to selected AMSRS members to attend the Society's National Conference.  A maximum of 6 scholarships will be awarded, one to each State Division.

The Scholarship provides an important opportunity for you, or those you manage, to attend.

The value of each Scholarship is equal to one full delegate registration fee.  To be eligible, applicants MUST NOT HAVE ATTENDED a previous Society National Conference.  Applicants must have been a member of the Society for at least six months prior to completion of an application.

Mike Larbalestier was a long-standing Society Member, whose active involvement in the Society and the Industry led to the development of the Code of Professional Behaviour and the Diploma of Market Research.  Mike was a long-standing National Councillor, National Chairman from 1980-1984 and part-time National Executive Director in 1985-86.  This scholarship has been established in his memory.

The Selection Committee within each State Division will award their respective scholarship on an individual's demonstration of the degree to which he/she will benefit from attendance at the Conference.

This years AMSRS National Conference Eyes Wide Open.  

This years AMSRS National Conference Eyes Wide Open has an open theme. We feel that the conference should be a place for stories, conversations, debates, discussions, stimulus, education and entertainment. That's why this year we have invited submissions and content from all aspects of the industry asking contributors to share their story in research, rather than fit into a particular box. This year's conference will also incorporate the inaugural Asia Pacific Research Conference.

2010 applications are now Closed.  

The scholarship winners will receive one Full Conference Ticket, for the 2010 National Conference Eyes Wide Open in Melbourne. Please note travel and accommodation will be at your own expense.
